Babatunde Sanda

Chairman

Babatunde has over 36 years cognate experience with over 18years experience in Auditing and Consulting, spanning three of the biggest international professional firms namely Coopers & Lybrand, Ernst & Whinney and PriceWaterHouse where he rose to the position of Senior Consultant in 1990. He retired as a Senior Partner of EY in December 2016. He is now into Economic, business and financial consulting.

His Banking career started in 1991 and he rose to the position of Executive Director, Finance in 1998 at Wema Bank Plc and was Managing Director in 2000 of Banque International du Benin, Cotonou -a universal bank in Cotonou, Benin Republic. He was appointed by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2006 to serve as Director of Societe General Bank of Nigeria Ltd (while in holding action).

Babatunde holds an honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Benin, is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program of Stanford University, California, USA and has attended various Management and development courses in major international institutes across the globe. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate of the Chartered Taxation Institute of Nigeria.

Saheed A Amzat - CFA

Group MD

Saheed A Amzat is the founder of the Zedcrest Capital Group, a securities dealing and proprietary investment firm. He is also the founder of Zedvance Finance limited, a leading Consumer lending fintech institution in Nigeria. He graduated from the University of Ilorin of with a degree in Industrial Chemistry. He also holds an MBA (Management & Accounting) from Obafemi Awolowo University

Saheed started his professional career with the Treasury & Global Markets group of Access Bank Nigeria, where he was in charge of Securities Dealing and Balance sheet management and was an active member of the ALM unit, seeing the Bank through such turbulent times as the Financial Market crises of 2008/09 and through the successful integration of Access Bank with Intercontinental Bank.

Saheed holds the prestigious CFA charter from the CFA Institute. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Management (ICA) and a Fellow & Member of Faculty of the Institute of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers (IAPM).

Oluseyi Akinbi

Director, Securities Trading

Oluseyi holds a B.Sc in Cooperative and Business Management from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. He started his professional career in Access Bank, serving in various capacity within the Treasury and Financial Institutions Unit of the bank. As a Treasury Sales and Trading professional, He was directly responsible for increasing clientele sign on the Fixed Income sales desk. His reputation and commitment helped the bank win the prestigious Euro Money awards for the Best Flow House in 2015 due to the increase in the banks transactional Fixed Income trade flows both locally and internationally. He is currently the Head of Securities Trading at Zedcrest Capital Limited, a Fixed Income and Proprietary Investment firm.

He is also a member of Financial Markets Dealers Association of Nigeria (FMDA) and Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). He has attended various Financial Markets related trainings by ICAP South Africa, FDHL Nigeria, and Dunn and Bradstreet

Stella Duru

Stella Duru

Non-Executive Director

Stella is the only female Partner in Banwo & Ighodalo’s Energy and Natural Resources Practice Group. Her core areas of practice are Energy & Natural Resources, Project Finance and Corporate Finance. She is renowned for her extensive experience in the power sector and authors articles in leading law publications. Stella has deep experience in oil, gas and power projects in Nigeria and has been involved in World Bank sponsored work streams advising on the power sector reforms in Nigeria. She was involved in the privatization and sale of government assets in the hitherto vertically integrated government owned power utility as well as in the new business units that were spun off this utility.

She is currently leading the initiative on renewable energy transactions in her Firm and in this regard, is advising several investors who are developing renewable projects in Nigeria. Stella continues to advise on transactions along the entire value chain of generation, transmission and distribution; as well as on deals pertaining to IPPs, off-grid and on-grid solutions to the power deficit in Nigeria. She is very passionate about monetizing and utilizing Nigeria’s natural gas resources in order to get Nigeria powered up.

Olaniyi Sanuth

Non-Executive Director

Olaniyi is the Managing Consultant of YS Consulting, a management consultancy firm with specialties in capacity building, market research and broad management consultancy. A chartered accountant, he trained nd acquired business assurance competencies with Price WaterhouseCoopers. Thereafter, he had distinguished service with two leading banks (Liberty Merchant Bank and Zenith International Bank) in Nigeria. At both banks, he had responsibilities for Internal Control Systems and Risk Management and he had the honour of setting up and implementing the Credit Risk Management System of both banks.

Over the years, Olaniyi Sanuth has acquired competencies in financial planning, market research, operations, process management and capacity building (training). He is also the Managing Director and founding Chief Executive Officer of Deen Communications Limited; a faith-based not-for-profit publications outfit that has a four-figure print run and is also involved in several causes of charity.
